AI-NATIVE SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT / SYSTEM ARCHITECT

We need a heavyweight System Architect who moves beyond standard development and thinks in terms of AI-native infrastructure. This role involves leading a small two-person team and reporting directly to the Director of Engineering.

Ideal candidate:
* Senior Architect Mindset: Ability to design complex systems and handle architectural decisions, not just implement features.
* AI-Native Expertise: Practical experience in AI agent orchestration, creating agent skills/tooling, and memory management within the modern AI stack.
* Backend Core: Strong Java and PostgreSQL.
* Security & Infrastructure: Familiarity with security tooling (Cloudflare and similar) is essential as you'll manage your own environment setup.
* Language: Strong spoken English is a must.
* Nice-to-have: Rust experience and previous experience managing small engineering teams.
* Timezone: Ability to provide at least 4 hours of overlap with New York (EST).
